  • Neuronal regeneration and reprogramming
  • Genetics and epigenetics of cognitive behavior
  • Neurobiology of non-coding RNAs
  • Optical approaches to studying neural functions
  • Plasticity of inhibitory neuronal systems
  • Neuromodulation in cortical and subcortical circuits

All research lines aim to apply multidisciplinary approaches to study brain function and disorders and to develop new technologies for neurological disease therapy.
